Rocky Heyen – Lead Vocals

So after all these years, I’m still crazy about being in a band; this band in particular. I could never be so self-indulgent ??? so satisfied without the group of people such as I have to play the music we’re doing as best I can.

For many years I struggled at the guitar, the bass in particular and finally realized I wasn’t really very good. Now as for singing, I sometimes shine, I sometimes am a degenerate but for some reason I can’t stop doing it. Moreover, I can’t stop doing it as hard as I can, whenever we’re working. Every time we get together it gets better and better and more and more fun. I’m the luckiest boy in the world really!

As for the past, I owe lots of love and inspiration to my childhood mates; Mike, Danny, Bobby, David, Mark & Kenny… We played lots of Proms and Sock Hops in the old days as the Chesterfield Bridge.

I’ve been fortunate to play and sing with some wonderful people. Now I’m doing exactly as I should be doing; having fun, entertaining and communicating almost spiritually with the finest band around…
