The band has just enjoyed a nice weekend off, before we head into a stint of pouring rain over the next 7 weekends.

 

But first, the big news – The promoters of Wheatland Jam 2005, have put Rain on the Main Stage this year to open Friday night’s festivities.  So start checking the website at www.wheatlandjam.com for ticket information.  Friday night features both .38 Special and Journey!  Huge thanks to Trowbridge Productions and Gear ConneXion for giving us this wonderful opportunity.

 

But why wait until July for WJ activities; Rain will be holding a few Pre-Jam parties over the weeks leading up to the main event starting this Saturday…
 

This Weekend (Sat Apr 23):
 

Rain will be holding a Pre-Wheatland Jam party down at Oscars Sports Bar (part of the Warren Theatre in Old Town) (MAP) from 9:30 till late. It is also one year to the weekend that Rain performed their first gig together.  Aaron & Loretta are also celebrating their Wedding Anniversary and Vic will be partying despite having added another year to his age on Friday.

April 23rd is also St Georges Day, so I’ll be wearing something English.  (If you’re all wondering what the hell St Georges Day is all about, check out this website http://www.woodlands-junior.kent.sch.uk/customs/stgeorge.html from Woodlands Junior School in England.)  Anyway, many, many reasons for heading on down to one of the coolest Sports Bar’s I’ve ever been in.  Get yourself down for Wheatland Jam giveaways, (incl. a drawing for free tickets!)
