Hi everyone!

Well, it's hard to believe that today is New Years Eve.  It only seems like a few weeks ago, that we were getting ready for 2004.  Time certainly flies when you're having fun!

It's been a wonderful 8 months for the band.  Our first gig was back in April of this year when the Rain line-up debuted down in Winfield at O'Kelley's.  A little rough around the edges then, but we tightened up enough to play Wheatland Jam, with a nice spot on the Saturday night between Blues Traveler and Boston!  Since then we've spent a lot of time, working the clubs around town and adding more songs to the set-list.  We're all looking forward to the New Year, and getting in some recording and having the web-site completed for your net-surfing enjoyment.

This weekend:

I stated in the last Newsletter that Snoops was our last gig for 2004.  However, we had a last minute invitation to play a Birthday Party on Saturday January 1st at the Roadhouse.  The club is still open to the public, but the Band has been booked by the Birthday Party crowd so there's no cover charge.  Now what's a better way to Party on the first night of the New Year (or as an alternative to paying huge cover charges on New Years Eve) than to get Rained on down at one of Wichita's Premier venues with nothing to pay at the door!

All that remains is to wish all our readers a Safe, Healthy, Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Special thanks to everyone of you that have supported the band in it's first year - We love you all!.  Hopefully, we'll get to record in 2005 and have some CD's to offer along with the Rain Gear (T-Shirts & Ladies Panties) at our gigs.

Extra special thanks to Aaron for running sound & lights and putting up with us all, and to Dave Gear for working so hard to keep us busy.  And from me (Nigel) to me band mates - You guys are the best!!
